About Me

Based in Amsterdam, Swiss-raised and British by birth, I've lived all over the world but call the Netherlands home.

I'm a journalist, magazine editor and writer. Amsterdam-based but London and Switzerland-hailing. I write long-form narratives and features about European topics, across culture, communities and climate. Interested in underreported voices, forgotten histories and the things that make us feel something.

I've written for places like VICE, Men's Health and Hyphen. I veer towards long-form features, profiles, essays and news centred on culture, underrepresented and religious communities and social change. Script writer and social media writer when the time calls, and well-versed in strategic content and analytics.

I also run a Substack – https://iusedtotalk.substack.com – if you're interested in my personal writing and essays.

I'm also a non-fiction writer and poet, with my first poetry released last year in Pan Macmillan's You're Never Too Much.
